Jaipur: On the eve of ‘Basant Panchami’ and on the birthday of Princess Diya Kumari as per the Hindu lunar calendar – ‘Savamani’ and ‘Prasadi’ was organized today in Jaipur. Thousands of well wishers from Jaipur and her former constituency, Sawai Madhopur, came today to wish her at the Civil Lines Office. On the occasion Rajmata Padmini Devi, former Rajasthan Chief Minister, Smt. Vasundhara Raje, BJP State President, Mr. Madan Lal Saini and a number of present and former Ministers, Members of Parliament and MLAs from both BJP and Congress, ‘Dharmguru’, religious priests, members of the erstwhile royal families and former thikanedars wished her and gave their blessings.
Before the Prasadi, Princess Diya Kumari also went to the Khole Ke Hanuman Ji in the morning to seek blessings.A large number of societies like Akhil Bhartiya Kayastha Mahasabha, Rajput Samaj, Karni Sena, Rajasthan Muslim Mahasabha, Khatik Samaj, Sikh Samaj, Jain Samaj, Prajapati Samaj, Brahmin Samaj, Maheshwari Samaj were represented by their members. Princess Diya Kumari expressed her gratitude to all the visitors for coming on the occasion.
