delhi. The newly formed political party Swaraj India inaugurated 5 new centres in Delhi on Saturday. Inauguration programs were held at CR Park, Baljit Nagar, Mongolpuri, Bijwasan and Patel Nagar.
Another set of such centres are scheduled to be opened at Badli, Rithala, Najafgarh, Seelampur & Mahavir Enclave.
The party has been focussing on its core organisation building exercise under the leadership of its new state president Anupam. These active centres, called Swaraj Kendra, are a mechanism to channelise grasroot level campaigns through a dedicated citizen’s grievance management system. The party has expressed hope that Swaraj Kendras would prove to be a landmark and a unique feature among any political party in the country.
The first such centre was inaugurated by party President Yogendra Yadav in East Delhi’s New Ashok Nagar on the 13th of August.
