Jio to reincarn with a new feature for its JioCinema smartphones app. The users can schedule their downloads for the happy hours from 2 am – 5 am daily for free unlimited data.
The updation to the most-recent version can enable the users to download the content either by regular ‘download now’ or by ‘smart download’ or can also download using ‘schedule download’. The downloads would be as usual as before in ‘My Downloads’, the only smart way is to schedule your download and ready to watch the next morning.
Besides this, the My Downloads section also shows the storage available in the app remained. The limited storage is around 4GB, users have to keep clearing out watched content for smooth on going watching and downloading process. JioCinema app reincarnation also enables the users to resume the content from where they left it, across any compatible device.
Though the users can download any files, any categories but it’s not possible to download all the contents available in the app. The users can then select the content from various categories available in the app and tap on the download button. The app also facilitate to sort the downloads as per categories. After tapping upon Download button, the app will ask users to select the content from different categories and also specify the video quality to download – low, medium or high.
The filter in the JioCinema within the download section allows users to sort content based on categories downloaded.
JioCinema enables its users to save their favourite shows and movies offline for later viewing. The app has an on-demand video library that offers content in multiple languages, exclusively for Jio users.
